This was stated by the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, in a recent interview with Brazilian journalist and writer Breno Altman of Opera Mundi, which was broadcast on his program 20 Minutos.
The conversation —the second between the journalist and the president— took place at the Palace of the Revolution and, according to the Presidency of the Republic's YouTube channel, covered the country's situation under the effects of the U.S. government's blockade, and more recently the oil embargo, the transformations the nation is undertaking, international solidarity, the beginnings of talks between Cuba and the United States, among other current issues.
