Super Wings Places 3rd in the “Restaurant Sauce Off” at the 10th Annual National Buffalo Wing Festival in Buffalo, NY

CaribPR Wire, New York, N.Y.– Super Wings N.Y. competed in the 10th Annual National Buffalo Wing Festival at Coca Cola Field in Buffalo, N.Y. on September 4th and won 3rd place in the Restaurant Sauce Off creative spicy category. Colette Burnett, owner of Brooklyn based Super Wings N.Y. and her team, entered their Pineapple Jerk Sauce.  The ingredients used mainly Pineapple, habanera peppers, and other fresh island seasonings is inspired by Burnett’s native Trinidad and Tobago, where recipes are a tantalizing blend of mainly African, East Indian, Europe, China, Middle East and Mediterranean culinary traditions.

 “I am delighted that the Super Wings N.Y. team was able showcase our Pineapple Jerk flavor infused with Caribbean herbs and spices,” stated Burnett. 

 Super Wings voted the “Best Wings In Brooklyn” opened its doors just two years ago this month and enjoys New York City Mayor, Michael Bloomberg; Brooklyn Borough President, Marty Markowitz and Food Network Bobby Flay amongst her biggest fans. Her Union Street eatery located in Brooklyn, N.Y. serves 10 kinds of wings, including Pineapple Jerk, Ginger Buff, and Island BBQ.
