Information from the Revolutionary Government on posthumous tribute to the Commander of the Revolution Ramiro Valdés Menéndez 

This Tuesday, June 23, 2026, the Cuban people will pay posthumous tribute to the Commander of the Revolution Ramiro Valdés Menéndez.

In Havana, the tribute will take place starting at 10:00 a.m. at the headquarters of the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, where the mortal remains of the beloved combatant will be displayed.

On Tuesday itself, in all the provincial capitals and in the Isla de la Juventud Special Municipality, tribute ceremonies will be held at 10:00 a.m.

In accordance with his last wish to rest alongside his comrades in arms and near the Heroic Guerrilla, the mortal remains of Commander of the Revolution Ramiro Valdés Menéndez will be interred on the morning of Thursday, June 25th, in a ceremony with military honors at the Las Villas Front Mausoleum, located in the Ernesto Che Guevara Sculptural Complex in the city of Santa Clara.
