"Yes, there is a blockade, yes the blockade has intensified; yes, there is an economic war; yes, they despise us; yes, they intoxicate us vulgarly, obscenely and full of hatred in social networks", said the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, at the Plenary Session of the Party organization last Friday.
He assured that "in response to that design of increased hostile policy, we call from this Plenary Session the heroic Cuban people to a combatant march next December 20, at the conclusion of the Session of the National Assembly of People's Power."
The Head of State said that "we will express in front of the U.S. Embassy in Havana, as we accompanied the Commander-in-Chief so many times, the most firm and forceful condemnation of the criminal blockade of the U.S. Government and the permanence of Cuba in the illegitimate list of countries allegedly sponsoring terrorism that cause terrible harm to all the people."
The March of the Combatant People will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Havana's Malecon, in front of the U.S. Embassy.
