The cadres and workers of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba celebrated on Thursday the 66th anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution, in a ceremony presided over by the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, and by the member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee, Roberto Morales Ojeda.
The event was attended by members of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Party, heads of departments and offices, as well as the First Secretary of the National Committee of the Union of Young Communists, Meyvis Estévez Echeverría.
The activity, which was held at the PCC Ñico López University, was also attended by the rector of the institution, members of its board of directors, professors and staff of the center of higher studies.
During the ceremony, Party and UJC militant cards were given to workers, young and veteran, from the Central Committee and the Ñico López University.
Special recognition was given to a group of outstanding workers for their dedication to the food production program.
The participants in the celebration of the 66th anniversary of the victory of the Revolution made it clear the decision that "the hostility of the empire against our people will not stop us, and we will continue to face the ideological battle and the economic and financial war against us, as well as our own shortcomings and mistakes, with the confidence that we will overcome".
