The largest multisectoral trade fair in Cuba and the Caribbean begins today

Expanding Cuba's trade relations with the world is one of the objectives of the Havana International Fair (Fihav-2024) which, in its 40th edition, starts this Monday at the ExpoCuba fairgrounds.Domestic and foreign exhibitors will be able to present their business opportunities in order to establish strategic alliances that contribute to socioeconomic development, according to the organizing committee.As part of the program, more than ten countries will hold their national days, which will show the progress achieved in bilateral relations in trade and investment, and the 7th Investment Forum will be held, in which the Portfolio of Business Opportunities in Cuba with foreign capital will be updated.Business forums will be held between Cuba and the Russian Federation, Iran, Mexico and Angola, in addition to the business committee between Cuba and Italy.There will also be panels on "The contribution of the biopharmaceutical export industry to the production of medicines in Latin America," "The Mariel Special Development Zone," "Business opportunities and prospects for cooperation in the fields of industry and agroindustry," the 7th edition of the Workshop on Informatics and Communications for society, and the Made in Cuba Exhibition of products and services.Once again, this fairground will host the Pavilion of the Provinces, as a showcase for local development and the promotion of exportable funds; in addition to the convergence of state and non-state management.Fihav-2024 will once again become an ideal environment to establish strategic alliances that contribute to the socio-economic development of the peoples, a sign of the support that international businessmen maintain for Cuba, despite financial pressures and the blockade.
