The Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology (EIMB) of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) and the Immunoassay Center (CIE) of the Group of Cuban biotechnological and pharmaceutical industries, BioCubaFarma, signed an agreement for scientific research cooperation.
As reported by the CIE on its Facebook page, this agreement is focused on obtaining products that are priorities for the public health of both countries, in addition to favoring the institutional development of the center.
The president of BioCubaFarma, Mayda Mauri Pérez, said on the social network that this action is part of the priority of the business organization to expand the internationalization of research and development activities.
