With his foot in the stirrup, as he told his people, because a revolutionary never retires, the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, shared with his comrades of the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution, on the closing day of the Sixth Conference.
During the emotional evening, held at the FAR's Universal Room, Raúl dedicated an embrace to all the men and women of the Association, revolutionaries who, according to Díaz-Canel, do not lose sleep over the difficulties. “Our only path is to continue the struggle with optimism and unshakable faith in victory.”
The First Secretary of the Party Central Committee and President of the Republic insisted on the importance of always maintaining national unity, “the impregnable bastion of the Revolution”, as Raúl has expressed on several occasions.
“There are no essential activities of production and defense, strategic fronts today, in which some of the nearly 300,000 combatants are not present, because the Association is a powerful moral army that we count on!” said the Head of State.
