The leader of the Cuban Revolution, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, received on Wednesday morning comrade Li Shulei, member of the Political Bureau and Secretariat and head of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, who is making an official visit to our country to participate in the 6th Theoretical Seminar between both Communist Parties.In a fraternal atmosphere, Raúl and Li Shulei exchanged on the excellent state of inter-party relations and on the importance of the mechanism of the theoretical seminars for the exchange of mutual experiences in the processes of building socialism.Comrade Raúl conveyed an affectionate greeting to the General Secretary of the Communist Party and President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, whom he thanked for his manifest solidarity towards Cuba in these complex moments faced by our country, in view of the intensification of the blockade policy of the United States.The distinguished visitor was accompanied by comrades Hua Xin, Chinese ambassador to Cuba, Ma Hui and Wang Gang, vice-chiefs of the International and Publicity Departments of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, respectively, as well as Wang Yulin, director general of the Bureau of Latin America and the Caribbean of the Department of Foreign Affairs.On the Cuban side were present members of the Political Bureau, Roberto Morales Ojeda and Amado Ricardo Guerra, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the CPC, and Secretary of the Council of Ministers, respectively; as well as comrades Emilio Lozada Garcia, head of the Department of International Relations of the Central Committee, and Gerardo Peñalver Portal, Minister A.I. of Foreign Affairs.
