Colonel General Trinh Van Quyet, head of the General Political Directorate of the Vietnam People's Army, was officially received, this Monday, by Major General Victor Rojo Ramos, head of the Political Directorate of the Revolutionary Armed Forces.In the ceremony held at the El Cacahual mausoleum, south of the town of Santiago de las Vegas, Boyeros municipality, in Havana, were present chiefs and officers of both nations, as well as the ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in our country, Le Quang Long.Colonel General Trinh Van Quyet placed a wreath at the site that holds the remains of Lieutenant General Antonio Maceo and his aide, Captain Panchito Gomez Toro."In the framework of this visit we are making to our sister Cuban nation we reaffirm the solid ties of friendship and cooperation that have always united us throughout history. We will work in various areas of defense, especially in the political sphere," said the head of the General Political Directorate of the Vietnam People's Army.During his stay, together with the delegation accompanying him, they will visit military units and sites of historical and cultural interest, in order to ratify the relations between the two countries.
